Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a positive impact every day as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students in a contract role. Multiple opportunities are available for passionate, skilled educators to join dedicated teams at several schools. Both full-time and part-time schedules are offered, and there's flexibility to combine certain part-time positions into a full-time workload to fit your needs. Currently seeking Special Education professionals for these onsite positions: Self-contained teacher for a behavior program at an elementary site, ideal for candidates with experience in behavior interventions and current CPI certification. Self-contained teacher roles in cross-category settings working with students primarily in the MID cognitive range (2nd grade) at two different locations. Resource teacher opportunities (part-time) at three different elementary schools, with the option to combine select part-time assignments into a full-time position as preferred.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification. Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card. Experience in behavioral programming and CPI certification strongly preferred for the behavior program position. Background supporting students with varying academic and behavioral needs. Updated resume highlighting relevant education and classroom experiences. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with school staff and families.

Core Responsibilities:

Design and adapt instruction to address individual student IEP goals. Foster a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment. Implement behavior intervention strategies as needed. Maintain compliance with state and district special education guidelines. Engage in ongoing communication and documentation for student progress monitoring.
