Job Description
There are three positions available:
one for a resource setting and two for traditional classroom environments. All roles offer 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification as a Special Education Teacher (state credentials required) Experience working in either resource or traditional special education classroom settings Comfortable developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and familiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction to students individually or in small groups, adapting lessons as needed Develop, review, and revise IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Track and assess student progress, modifying interventions and goals as appropriate Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment conducive to growth and learning Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with legal and district guidelines Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Engage actively in professional development and school initiatives This contract engagement lets you inspire and empower exceptional learners while working alongside supportive educators.
