Tucson, AZ Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a school-based setting in Tucson, Arizona, for the 20262027 school year . This part-time opportunity offers a consistent schedule of 16 hours per week across two days and focuses on students with moderate to severe autism . The ideal clinician will be comfortable working with students who have significant support needs and collaborating with teachers, special education professionals, and families to promote mobility, participation, and access throughout the school day. Responsibilities Provide direct physical therapy services to students Develop and implement individualized therapy goals Support students with mobility, positioning, motor skills, and functional participation Conduct assessments and monitor student progress Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress records Consult with teachers and school staff regarding student needs and accommodations Qualifications Active Arizona Physical Therapist license required Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities and/or autism preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team Experience School-based PT experience preferred Experience with students with moderate to severe autism is strongly preferred Education Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program Work Hours 16 hours per week 2 days per week 20262027 school year School-based, onsite position To learn more about this Physical Therapist opportunity, please submit your application and current resume.
