We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Berkeley area. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities Providing behavioural, social, and emotional support Encouraging student engagement and participation in lessons Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment Supporting students with additional learning needs where required The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people, either in education or another relevant setting Is patient, resilient, and able to build positive relationships Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is committed to supporting students' academic and personal development Can adapt to different situations and work effectively as part of a team Experience in areas such as youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, care work, psychology, or education would be highly beneficial.
