Job Description

Position Title:
Community Companion for Special Needs 17 yr old teen boy with ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
ASD & Behavioral experience & certification or higher, or willing to obtain if opportunity presents itself training will be provided, compassion, basic proficiency with ASL (American Sign Language)
Job Summary:
This is a W2 income position using a payroll company that requires live scan & onboarding paperwork. Processing time is 3-4 weeks for background clearance.
Pay:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour

Tues-Fri 3/3:30pm until 8/8:30pm 
Responsibilities:
Seeking A Community Companion/Special Needs Caregiver In Castro Valley. Someone who can assist a sweet & funny 17-year-old teen who can assist with daily living tasks & motivate take out into the community, teach/assist in recreational activities. Experience in special needs care with teens/youths, and basic proficiency with ASL & Behavioral training a must. Must be able to lift 30-50lbs and own a car valid driver's license (mileage reimbursed at federal rate). Car needs to be able to fit a collapsable wheelchair for outings. Please provide 2 references
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
