Qualifications:

Valid state teaching credential in Special Education Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage classroom environments that foster learning, respect, and growth Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and instruction techniques Bachelors degree in Education or a related field required; Masters degree a plus

What Youll Do:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student abilities and goals Provide differentiated instruction, using evidence-based strategies to meet learners unique needs Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and communicate regularly with parents/guardians Foster a positive, supportive classroom climate where all students feel valued Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and administrators Participate in IEP meetings, staff professional development, and school-wide activities Advocate for students, ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities
