Located near Citrus Heights, CA, this contract opportunity begins in November or December, following the retirement of the current DHH teacher. What we're looking for: Current, active Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH) teaching license issued by the state of California Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in educational settings Understanding of self-contained classroom structures and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong commitment to creating inclusive, student-centered learning environments In this role, you will: Deliver tailored instruction to a diverse group of students in a self-contained classroom Adapt lessons and instructional techniques to meet each students unique needs Participate in the IEP process, collaborating closely with families, staff, and related service providers Assess student progress and document outcomes to ensure academic milestones are met Serve as an advocate and resource within the school community for students with hearing loss Enjoy competitive weekly pay that recognizes your expertise and dedication.
