Qualifications and Experience:

Valid certification or credential in Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, or related field Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans Familiarity with assessment and evaluation processes for early childhood education Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and school administrators Strong communication, problem-solving, and record-keeping skills Previous experience with Pre-K or Pre-School populations a plus Up-to-date knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding special education

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct individualized educational evaluations and assessments for Pre-K students Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) specific to each childs needs Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide professional guidance and support effective classroom accommodations Design and supervise targeted behavior interventions, documenting progress Facilitate communication between school staff, families, and external service providers Maintain diligent records for compliance with reporting guidelines Advocate for student needs while fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment Bring your specialist skills and passion for early childhood education to a collaborative setting where youll help students reach their full potential.
