Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education credentials (state certification required) Experience teaching students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred Familiarity with SDC (Structured Direct Classroom) environments Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Enthusiasm for collaborative team teaching and adapting to new environments
Responsibilities/Duties:
Provide full-time instruction (37.5 hours weekly) to special education students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and specialists Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom culture Track student progress, communicate with families, and maintain records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
