Qualifications:

Proven experience working in special education settings is essential. A current TB test and successful background check are required prior to starting. Relevant paraprofessional credentials or certifications, as mandated.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one or small-group support for students with special needs, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive environment. Reinforce classroom routines, facilitate lessons, and provide academic and emotional assistance under teacher direction. Implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies as needed. Support teachers with clerical tasks, instructional preparation, and classroom organization. Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to support each students growth.
