Credential Required:

Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate or Mod/Sev Support Needs) Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum and with developmental delays. Adapt instructional materials and activities using curriculum development strategies and educational technology integration to enhance learning outcomes. Collaborate closely with speech therapists, behavioral health specialists, parents, and other professionals to support student progress through team-based planning and intervention. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies, creating a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Mild/Moderate) Proven classroom experience working with students with disabilities in elementary school settings; experience with autism spectrum disorders support is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and classroom management techniques tailored for special education environments.

Pay:

$55.00 - $65.00 per hour
