Two contract opportunities are available to help cover maternity leaves, both beginning in August (exact dates to be determined). Desired Qualifications:

Current special education teaching credential Proven classroom experience as a special education teacher Ability to support students with diverse needs in both resource and specialized settings Strong collaboration skills to work with teaching teams, specialists, and parents Expertise in IEP development and implementation Flexible, responsive, and able to acclimate quickly to new classrooms Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities Include:

Delivering differentiated instruction and support based on student IEPs Creating a positive, affirming learning environment Monitoring and documenting student progress toward IEP goals Coordinating with general education teachers, aides, and other support staff Participating in case conferences, student support meetings, and parent communications Maintaining accurate and timely records Adapting to classroom routines and school policies as needed These roles present the opportunity to bring your expertise to vibrant learning communities, supporting continuity and progress for students during these important maternity leaves.
