9606803-95632 Job Description Empower high school students with special needs by bringing your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to a supportive educational environment. This contract position, based near Galt, CA, focuses on serving a class of 9 students with moderate to severe needs (ESN Extensive Support Needs) at the high school level. The assignment begins August 6 and continues through June 3, following a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid California Education Specialist Credential with Moderate/Severe (ESN) authorization (mild/moderate not accepted) Experience working with high school students, especially those with moderate/severe disabilities Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Knowledge of IEP procedures, goal writing, and progress monitoring Ability to collaborate effectively with parents, support staff, and related service providers Passion for supporting student growth in academic, communication, and life skills

Key Responsibilities:
