In this role, youll play a pivotal role in providing personalized instruction and support to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each learner's unique needs.

Key qualifications and credentials:

Valid Special Education teaching credential (California) Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field Previous experience working with K-12 students in special education settings Strong understanding of IEP processes, modifications, and accommodations Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff Responsibilities include: Delivering differentiated instruction to students of varying abilities Developing, revising, and implementing IEPs in collaboration with parents and colleagues Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records Partnering with general education teachers, therapists, and other staff to support inclusion Participating in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training Advocating for students success and ensuring access to appropriate resources This contract offers a steady block schedule from October 6, 2026 through June 4, 2027, working 32.5 to 35 hours weekly across five days.
