9680368-91205 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Inclusion Specialist, supporting K-12 students in a vibrant, diverse educational environment. Working approximately 30 hours a week, you'll bring your expertise as a Special Education Teacher to provide essential support in both elementary and high school settings. This itinerant position allows you to make a significant impact across multiple schools, working closely with learners who benefit most from individualized instruction and curriculum modifications. In this role, you will: Serve 2 students at a downtown K-8 campus, providing individualized support and inclusion services Support 4 students split between high school (9th and 10th grades) and elementary (8th and 4th grades) settings Adapt and implement curriculum to meet diverse learning needs Deliver one-on-one guidance and assistance for students requiring extra help Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure inclusive classroom practices Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff Ideal candidates will bring: Valid Special Education Teacher certification or license Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in inclusive or integrated settings Strong ability to modify curriculum and deliver differentiated instruction Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant educator Commitment to fostering an environment where every student can thrive This contract opportunity offers a meaningful way to leverage your special education expertise while delivering flexible, dedicated support to students across grade levels.
