Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contract Special Education Teacher in an RSP classroom. This position involves working with a small, focused caseload of 13 students across Kindergarten through 6th grade. You'll make a meaningful difference each day, helping young learners reach their full potential in a collaborative, engaging academic setting.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience with K-6th grade students preferred Familiarity with Resource Specialist Program (RSP) environments Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and case management Ability to build rapport with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needs within the RSP setting Develop, implement, and track student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate closely with general education teachers and specialists to support inclusion and instructional strategies Maintain accurate records, prepare required documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive, structured learning environment that encourages student growth and self-advocacy Communicate regularly with families to share progress and address concerns Enjoy consistent weekday hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, allowing for a balanced and predictable routine.
