9606803-95640 Job Description Step into a pivotal role supporting students, grades 912, in a dedicated special education setting for the upcoming academic year. Youll provide invaluable guidance and instruction to a classroom of 9 students with moderate to severe needs (ESN). This contract opportunity spans from August 6 through June 3, with consistent Monday through Friday hours from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Ideal candidates are passionate about advancing educational outcomes for high school students with exceptional needs, bringing expertise, adaptability, and compassion to the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential (moderate/severe). Credentials for mild/moderate will not be considered. Demonstrated experience in moderate/severe (ESN) special education classrooms, preferably at the secondary level Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families Proven ability to implement IEPs and tailor curriculum to individual learning levels Skill in utilizing adaptive materials, instructional strategies, and assistive technology Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:
