Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Position Details Location:
La Quinta, CA Schedule:
Monday & Tuesday | 9:00 AM - 5:00
PM Pay:
$23/hour

Female Caregiver - Adult Special Needs About the Client We are seeking a caregiver to provide attentive, hands-on support to a 37-year-old non-verbal female with a central nervous system disorder.
The caregiver will assist with:
Daily personal care and ADLs Mobility and safe transfers Following a strict gluten-free and sugar-free diet Maintaining a peaceful, comfortable environment Providing patient and compassionate one-on-one care Because the client is sensitive to loud sounds, the ability to maintain a calm and low-stimulation setting is important. What We're Looking For Active California HCA certification required Previous experience caring for individuals with special needs, developmental disabilities, or neurological conditions Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility Valid driver's license and auto insurance Patient, reliable, attentive, and compassionate Heart of Gold Benefits 401(k) Flexible scheduling Paid orientation Paid training Paid sick time Referral program If you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in someone's daily life, we'd love to hear from you!
