A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Job Summary Job Summary Substitute Pool:
School Resource Aide II Work with children with a variety of physical and emotional handicaps. Directly oversee students with moderate to severe/extensive needs and/or provide one-on-one services to a student per requirements of an IEP. Receive direction from the classroom teacher; tutor under guidelines of classroom teacher in general and special education classrooms; assist in the conduct of intensified learning experiences related to students with special needs served by the special education program.
