Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching credential or eligibility for credentialing. Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred. Strong skills in adapting curricula and developing individualized education plans (IEPs). Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture. Organized, compassionate, and committed to student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instruction to small groups of students with special education needs in an SDC environment. Develop, write, and implement IEPs in partnership with families and school teams. Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and ensure access to the core curriculum. Monitor, assess, and document student progress to drive ongoing instructional decisions. Collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and related service providers. Communicate regularly with families to share progress and address concerns. Uphold compliance with district, state, and federal regulations for special education.
