Requirements / Qualifications Must have:
    Education Specialist Instruction Credential:

    Mild to Moderate Support Needs, Extensive Support Needs, Early Childhood Special Education OR

      Education Specialist Added Authorization:

      Autism Spectrum Disorders, Early Childhood OR

        Education Specialist Bridge Document:

        Mild to Moderate Support Needs, Extensive Support Needs, Early Childhood Special Education Candidates must attach all required documents to be considered for this position.         REQUIRED

        • Education Specialist Instruction Credential OR
        • Transcripts (Required for all Pre-interns)
        • CBEST
        • EL Authorization
        • (•must provide proof if it is not embedded in California Credential) •Credential Copy (Must show Subject Description, expiration date and EL Authorization) • Two (2) professional letters of recommendation (within one year) •Letters should be from current or former Principal, Assistant Principal, Department Chair, Program Director, or Supervisor.

        If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor. Comments and Other Information Computers and scanners are available for applicant use in the Human Resources Department Office located at 2271 W. Louise Ave., Manteca.

        PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT

        (At Employee Cost if Hired) - TB Clearance - Fingerprinting MUSD offers In-House Teacher Induction Program at no cost. MUSD accepts up to twenty-one (21) years of full-time school years. There may be an out-of-pocket expense depending on the Medical plan.

        • Unit members who do not hold a preliminary credential will not receive the $6,000 stipend until a preliminary credential is obtained.
        • To obtain a copy of your credential: Commission on Teacher Credentialing link listed below - At secured search enter birthdate and social security number. All documents and credentials will be listed. Select appropriate document number, select print, change destination to PDF and save.
