Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Current or eligible state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Experience working in elementary education settings (K-5 preferred) Strong skills in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or another communication mode used in Deaf education Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Collaborative spirit for working with teachers, families, and support staff Excellent communication and advocacy abilities
