For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Possession of a valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential with a specialty in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is required. Possession of a validCLAD/BCLAD
English Learner Authorization or similar certification is required.- GCC accepts 15 years of previous experience for salary placement Copy of Transcript (Unofficial is fine) Credential Copy Resume Education Specialist Instruction Credential
