For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

EDUCATION
A Bachelor's degree from an approved institution is required. Advanced degrees are preferred.
LICENSE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
A valid California teaching credential issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing and appropriate to the individual assignment. CLAD/BCLAD or similar certification is required or wiling to obtain. At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both Copy of Transcript (College (Unofficial)) Credential Copy Resume Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects Requirements / Qualifications
