In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and educational environment that supports early childhood development and fosters a love of learning. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, discover, and grow through age-appropriate activities, curriculum development, and compassionate care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's educational journey. Qualifications Must have 12 Semester of 18 Quarter unit of Early Childhood Education along with the Infant and Toddler development unit. Proven classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in early childhood education settings or daycare environments. Strong understanding of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention techniques. Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and implementing literacy education strategies. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with families. Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants and toddlers. Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while ensuring child safety at all times. Engage children in hands-on activities that support literacy education, early intervention strategies, and foundational math skills. Manage classroom routines efficiently, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions to foster a structured yet flexible learning atmosphere. Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address behavioral challenges with patience and professionalism. Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular communication about each child's progress, milestones, and any special needs or accommodations. Must be able to willing to change diaper.
Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
