Special Education Teacher - Milpitas, California 2026-2027 School Year ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school team for the 2026-2027 school year . Position Details August 13, 2026 - June 8, 2027
Full-time:
8:00 AM - 1:30 PM Prep time provided after students leave TK-Kindergarten ESN (Moderate/Severe) classroom Four additional adults assigned to the classroom On-site sensory room available to support student learning Requirements Active California Moderate/Severe (Mod/Severe) Education Specialist Credential Screenshot of active California CTC credential must be included with submission Previous school-based experience preferred Experience working with students with extensive support needs is highly preferred Job Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with classroom staff, related service providers, and families to support student success Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to meet individual student needs Maintain accurate documentation and monitor progress toward IEP goals Pay $38-43/hour (based on experience, credentials, and caseload) ProCare Benefits Highly competitive compensation Weekly pay Comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, vision, life, and more Matching 401(k) Flexible spending account #p24
