Job Description

Qualifications:
Valid teaching credential in either Special Education (SPED) or General Education from the state of California Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting (preferred) Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and differentiated instruction Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive classroom climate Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and staff Organizational skills to effectively manage lesson planning, assessments, and student progress
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of each student Implement and monitor accommodations, modifications, and behavioral strategies Collaborate effectively with fellow educators, support staff, and families to promote student achievement and well-being Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and relevant school functions Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress Encourage student participation, independence, and confidence through positive reinforcement This position offers the rewarding chance to positively impact young learners in a supportive school atmosphere.
