Qualifications:

Valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential (R3EN or Mod/Severe) Previous experience teaching special education, particularly with ESN populations, highly desired Knowledgeable in individualized education plan (IEP) development, implementation, and documentation Ability to support students with diverse needs, including those with autism, intellectual disabilities, multiple disabilities, OHI, orthopedic impairment, emotional disturbance, traumatic brain injury, and deafblindness Commitment to onsite, full-time work

Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and adaptive instruction to meet IEP goals Modify curriculum and materials to address unique learning needs Monitor student progress and maintain required records and documentation Collaborate effectively with families, general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Support students academic, behavioral, communication, and functional skill development Teach adaptive and daily living skills to promote independence
