Job Overview Special Day Class - Mild/Moderate Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for a role with a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and meaningful work? Overview:
In-person Moreno Valley, CA Covering long term assignments Compensation starting at $55 / hour
ASAP Start Responsibilities:
SDC Mild/Moderate (SDC MM) Teacher Provides specialized instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities in a structured classroom setting. Develops and implements Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapts curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, and supports students in building academic, social, and behavioral skills. Collaborates with general education teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success and inclusion when appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field Active CA Special Education Teaching Credential Valid Mild to Moderate Special Education Teaching Credential In-Person Active CPR/BLS Certification Experience with IEP development and differentiated instruction (preferred) Strong communication and collaboration skills Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with special needs Benefits (eligibility dependent on employment status): Paid time off Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with employer matching Weekly pay and direct deposit Single point of contact for support
