9651036-92553 Job Description Bring your expertise as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) to a supportive school setting near Moreno Valley, CA. There are two immediate openings for full-time educators who are passionate about making a daily impact on students from kindergarten through 12th grade. These positions are available for the 2026/2027 academic year, with an ASAP start. You'll work closely with a diverse K-12 caseload, creating inclusive learning experiences tailored to the unique needs of visually impaired students. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure each student receives the specialized support they need to thrive.

Qualifications:

Valid certification or credential as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Experience supporting visually impaired students in a school setting Strong knowledge of Braille, assistive technology, and adaptive instructional strategies Commitment to individualized education and collaborating on IEPs Ability to serve students across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement instruction plans adapted for students with visual impairments Assess student abilities and provide appropriate interventions and accommodations Teach Braille, assistive device usage, and orientation/mobility skills as needed Monitor student progress and document results for IEP meetings Collaborate with other educators, paraprofessionals, and families to support students growth Participate in professional development and trainings Take the next step in your teaching career and help shape the future for visually impaired students.
