Compensation 2026- 2027 school year
- $89,244
- $160,001 Up to two (2) stipends available for Masters, Doctorate, Special Education Credential, National Board Certification, or Bilingual credential (BCLAD or BASP.) A Hiring Bonus will be offered for hard to fill positions (Special Education, BCLAD)
- $10,000 hiring bonus, paid over 3 years Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university A valid California Special Education teaching credential Education Specialist Instruction Credential (Moderate/Severe; or Extensive Needs with EL Authorization ) Education Specialist Instruction Credential (ECSE
- for preschool positions only) Valid Driver's License or Government Issued Identification Desired Two years-experience in Special Education Knowledge of and experience with a variety of assessment tools and techniques Ability to assess, prescribe, instruct, and evaluate the learning needs of individual students Detailed working knowledge of the various exceptionalities Position Description The Educational Specialist, under the direction of the Director of Special Education in consultation with the site principal, performs a variety of duties supporting the site's Special Education program.
