The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with diverse learning needs and creating inclusive educational environments. Full time, Grades 2nd and 5th Monday to Friday Location
  • Orange, CA ## Duties Works with those pupils who are identified by the IEP team and have a written individualized education program . The Resource Specialist Teacher provides direct services to these individuals on a one-to-one or group basis.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Provide direct instruction using evidence-based practices to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth
  • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive and supportive classroom environment
  • Incorporate speech therapy, early intervention strategies, and behavioral health interventions as needed
  • Adapt curriculum materials to meet the unique learning styles of students with disabilities ## Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • CA State certification in Special Education
  • Experience working with children in a special education setting
  • Strong understanding of curriculum development for diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
