Key Qualifications:

Valid California Special Education Credential with at least Mild/Moderate Authorization Experience teaching in a K-12 setting; a strong background in middle school education is highly valued Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to fit individual students' needs Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe, nurturing classroom culture

What You'll Do:

Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to students with diverse learning profiles in both individual and small group settings Develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in collaboration with families and related service providers Assess student progress regularly and modify instructional approaches as needed Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences Foster an inclusive, positive classroom climate that encourages student participation and builds self-esteem Support the school community by contributing to projects, activities, and school events This full-time (37.5 hours per week) position offers an enriching environment where you can make a significant difference in the lives of students and build lasting professional relationships.
