About the Position Paradise Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs at Paradise High School. The RSP teacher plays a vital role in helping students access the general education curriculum while providing specialized instruction, individualized support, and collaboration with staff and families. This position is ideal for an educator who believes in inclusive practices, strong collaboration, and supporting every student's success. Key Responsibilities Provide specialized academic instruction to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in the Resource Specialist Program. Collaborate with general education teachers to support inclusive classroom practices and student success. Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state regulations. Conduct assessments and maintain documentation related to student progress and services. Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and collaborative planning with staff. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and supports. Work collaboratively with school psychologists, service providers, administrators, and support staff.
