For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Qualifications Preferred Experience:
  • One year of experience working with children with special needs.
  • Experience with coaching families and/or home visiting.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license issued by the
State Department of Motor Vehicles Education:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Valid teaching credential, or eligibility for appropriate credential/permit
  • Must possess a valid California Special Education Credential .
