Thank you! Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to serve students with special needs, fostering their creativity and self-expression through engaging art instruction. In this role, you will develop and implement tailored art curricula that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, including students with developmental disabilities, autism, and other special needs. Your enthusiasm for inclusive education will inspire students to explore their artistic talents while supporting their overall growth, communication skills, and emotional well-being. Responsibilities Design and deliver customized art lessons aligned with individual student IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, ensuring accessibility for students with various disabilities. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavioral management strategies to create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Use assessment tools such as standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress in art skills and overall development. Provide mentorship and guidance to students, encouraging self-expression, confidence-building, and social interaction through creative activities.
