Desired Qualifications:
Current certification or licensure as an Educational Diagnostician, Special Education Teacher, or relevant credential (or ability to obtain) Demonstrated experience or training as a Behavior Specialist, especially in early childhood or Pre-K settings Strong understanding of implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans Awareness of best practices for early childhood education and inclusive classroom strategies Effective communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to diverse student needs within school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct educational assessments and behavioral evaluations for Pre-K and Pre-School students Collaborate with special education teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans Provide direct instructional support and behavioral interventions to students with varying needs Offer guidance to staff members on evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies Engage families and caregivers in the intervention and support process Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to school policies and regulatory standards
