Duties Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles, including special education needs and early intervention strategies. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques to create a safe learning environment. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction. Support children's social-emotional growth through classroom management, conflict resolution, and fostering inclusive peer interactions. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure comprehensive child welfare and consistent educational support. Incorporate Montessori principles or other specialized teaching methods as appropriate for preschool or toddler care settings. Lead physical education activities to promote healthy development and motor skills among young children. Maintain detailed lesson plans, student records, and progress reports in accordance with educational standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in classroom settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention practices, and special education strategies. Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, standardized testing procedures, and tutoring methods. Experience with Montessori or other early childhood education frameworks is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to adapt teaching approaches for toddlers care or preschool experience as needed. Knowledge of child welfare practices and commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
