Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Summary Job Summary Granite Peak charter school supports students in a non-site based, independent study public charter model in Calaveras, Tuolumne, Stanislaus, Amador, and San Joaquin counties. This is a full-time position which will include meeting students individually or in groups, in-person and/or virtually
- depending on student need.
- Bachelor's Degree with a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing service in learning handicapped, including English Learner authorization; preferred master's degree and/or post graduate course work.
- Teaching experience at various grade levels with learning disabled students.
- Able to travel with reliable transportation to various locations to accomplish objectives of this role. The following documents are required to upload with your application:
