Two dedicated educators are needed to manage an Elementary SDC classroom, with a current caseload of 7 students and a maximum of 15. As part of an expert team, you'll play a crucial role in providing individualized instruction and fostering a positive learning environment.

What We're Looking For:

Active California Mild/Moderate Special Education teaching credential (required) Experience in elementary SPED settings, preferably within a Special Day Class model Strong skills in classroom management, differentiated instruction, and student engagement Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) effectively Commitment to collaboration with school staff, families, and service providers Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct instruction to elementary students in a self-contained classroom Maintain accurate records and develop/monitor IEP goals for all assigned students Modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
