Step into a rewarding contract role as a Special Education Teacher, supporting a dedicated resource caseload at a friendly elementary campus. This position is based near San Bruno, CA, and is available as soon as possible through the end of the school year, offering 35-37.5 hours per week. In this role, you'll play a vital part within the school community, crafting individualized learning experiences and collaborating closely with families, staff, and related service providers. The ideal candidate brings a passion for inclusive education and a drive to help every student thrive.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active California mild/moderate Special Education Teaching Credential (MUST; screenshot of current CTC required for consideration) Bachelor's degree or higher in special education or related field Previous experience with elementary resource caseloads preferred Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations Team-oriented with a positive, flexible approach
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
