Full Job Description We Are Hiring:

Dance Instructors & Movement Wellness Specialists The Dance Loft SF | San Francisco | Seeking One Current Position & Three Positions for 2027 We are a boutique dance and wellness studio seeking experienced instructors who combine dance expertise, emotional intelligence, and exceptional client care. You could be a great fit if you bring: Partner dance experience: Ballroom, Latin, swing, or related styles.

Solo dance experience:

Jazz, hip-hop, ballet, or other styles is an additional asset.

Teaching skills:

Experience supporting adult beginners, wedding couples, and different learning styles.

Experience with children:

A valuable addition for family and youth lessons.

Emotional intelligence:

Patience, empathy, thoughtful communication, and professional boundaries.

A wellness mindset:

Interest in mindful movement, breath awareness, grounding, and body confidence.

Sales experience:

Confidence recommending lessons and packages based on client goals.

Professionalism:

Punctual, prepared, reliable, collaborative, and receptive to feedback.

Availability:

Consistent shifts, including some evenings and weekends.

Certifications valued:

Dance teaching credentials and additional wellness training.

Compensation:

Starts at $50 per teaching hour, plus client tips, with opportunities for higher rates following training and demonstrated performance.
