Qualifications:
Active state teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience teaching students with IEPs or in special education classrooms Strong communication and collaboration skills Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment Flexibility and openness to new challenges
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Adapt lesson plans and instructional methods Collaborate with faculty, support staff, and families Track student progress, document outcomes, and adjust strategies as needed Advocate for each student, ensuring all required supports are in place
