We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide personalized care and support for a special needs adult with down syndrome and autism. He has a minor back injury and is non-verbal but is outgoing, loves to make people happy, and has a good sense of humor. Your energy and enthusiasm will help promote our son's independence, socialization, safety, and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by providing specialized care in a supportive environment. Requires car transportation. Responsibilities Assist with feeding, dressing, and some personal hygiene. Implement individualized care for our son. Assist with communication, recreation, and socialization under supervision - all training will be provided. Prepare his meals and eating support while also supporting daily hydration. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning and housework. Observe closely for changes in behavior or health status and monitor his back for personal safety. Communicate effectively with individual, family and team members to ensure seamless care.
