Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives as an on-site paraprofessional, providing dedicated 1:1 support at the elementary level. This contract position is available immediately and runs through early June 2027, with a schedule of 32 to 40 hours per week across four or five days. You'll help foster a supportive learning environment at RH Dana Elementary, working closely with school staff to aid students in reaching their full potential.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role Understanding of basic classroom management and learning support techniques Ability to establish rapport and maintain positive relationships with children Comfort working 1:1 with elementary-aged students Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit Flexibility and reliability for on-site work as part of a contract Relevant certifications or licensing, as required by state or local regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct, individualized assistance to students in classroom and/or resource settings Collaborate with educators to implement lesson plans and accommodate student needs Assist with adapting educational materials and modifying lessons for individual students Support students' social, emotional, and academic development through positive engagement Monitor and document student progress and behavior, ensuring a safe, inclusive environment Communicate clearly and professionally with teachers, administrators, and families as appropriate This school-based position enables you to work closely with a single student, making a measurable difference in their daily school experience.
