Managing Director Position Overview:
Lifetime Activities Santa Clara is seeking a passionate and experienced Tennis Private Lesson Specialist to deliver high-quality, personalized coaching experience to players of all ages and skill levels. This role focuses on one-on-one and small group coaching, emphasizing skill development, strategy, and an engaging, results-driven experience for clients. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and a refined, client-focused approach—someone who can build lasting relationships while delivering measurable results on court.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide private and semi-private tennis lessons tailored to individual player goals and skill levels Develop customized lesson plans focusing on technique, footwork, strategy, and match play Assess player performance and track progress over time Deliver a high-energy, positive, and professional coaching experience Build strong relationships with clients to encourage retention and referrals Maintain a safe and organized court environment Assist with clinics, camps, and special events as needed Stay current on coaching techniques, trends, and best practices Help occasionally with Park & Rec youth and adult lessons
NOTE:
This position requires submission to a consumer investigative report, as permitted by law. Applicants are also subject to a health screening, following a conditional offer of employment.
Qualifications:
RSPA / PTR
Certified Professional Minimum 4 years teaching/ player development experience A strong track record of teaching excellence (Municipal program experience is a plus) Demonstrated ability to retain and attract students of all ages/abilities A great on-court presence with an understanding of modern fundamentals and development progressions Punctual, professional and positive with a strong work ethic The ability to connect to a diverse range of ages and levels A positive presence with a focus on safety, and customer service
Schedule:
Sat & Sun 3pm
  • Sunset Weekdays 8am
  • 2pm or 3pm
  • 9pm 15
  • 20 hours/week
  • Schedule and number of hours assigned are subject to change according to the needs of the business and can vary seasonally or session by session.
  • Pay Range:
    Private lesson rate: $58.50/hr P&R range: $29.30
  • $42/hr
