Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching credential Experience serving students with varied disabilities and learning challenges Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to foster a supportive, engaging classroom climate Excellent organizational and communication skills Flexibility and problem-solving abilities Previous school-based or educational experience preferred

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Deliver direct instruction and adapted curriculum, both in individual and group settings Collaborate with general education staff, specialists, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team Track and evaluate student progress, maintaining detailed documentation Utilize evidence-based classroom strategies and accommodations to support learner success Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning sessions Advocate effectively for student needs, including behavioral and social-emotional supports
