Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our educational team. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Your expertise will support students' academic growth, social-emotional development, and behavioral management within an inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities Design and deliver customized lesson plans that incorporate instructional modifications suitable for students with disabilities. Maintain detailed records of student progress, IEP goals, and behavioral interventions in compliance with legal requirements. Facilitate communication with parents and guardians through regular updates, conferences, and written reports. Integrate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences for students with diverse needs. Support early childhood education initiatives by applying knowledge of childhood development principles in classroom activities. Provide mentorship and guidance to teaching assistants or student teachers as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. Valid teaching certification/license for special education in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven classroom experience working with students with disabilities in elementary or preschool settings. Knowledge of special education law (IDEA), IEP development, and instructional modifications. Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and behavioral therapy strategies. Proficiency in educational technology integration and curriculum development tools. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, parents, and external specialists. Pay:

$55.00 - $62.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
