Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-6 students as a Special Education Teacher in a dedicated RSP (Resource Specialist Program) setting. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by providing tailored educational support to a manageable caseload of 13 students, helping them thrive academically and socially. This position offers a collaborative environment where your expertise is valued, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. The focus will be on developing individualized learning plans, utilizing innovative strategies, and working alongside a passionate educational team to empower students with diverse learning needs.

Qualifications:

Valid teaching credential authorizing service in special education Prior experience teaching K-6 students, preferably in a resource setting Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional approaches to meet individual student needs Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Responsibilities:
