We have both full and part-time positions available, in the nursery, preschool and afterschool programs. These teaching positions focuses on early childhood education, primarily working with nursery school (infants and young toddlers), preschoolers aged 2-3 years, or after-school students ranging from TK to 5th grade. The role emphasizes both foundational child development and academic support, requiring collaboration as a lead teacher within a team environment. Candidates with experience or ECE credits preferred. Must be able to get certified in pediatric CPR and first aid, and successfully pass a background check. Occasional travel for field trips is expected. Responsibilities Deliver age-appropriate instruction and facilitate learning activities Manage classroom environment to ensure safety and engagement Assess student progress and provide ongoing feedback Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development Develop and implement curriculum tailored to early childhood needs Supervise classroom activities and student behavior Support individual student needs within the classroom Maintain accurate and organized student records Preferred Qualifications Entry-level experience in teaching ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits Skills in classroom management and curriculum development Experience with student assessment and effective communication Adaptability and patience in working with young children A team player Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional design principles. Adapt teaching strategies and instructional modifications to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, including those requiring speech therapy, behavioral therapy, music therapy, or visual impairment education. Conduct assessments using standardized testing and formative evaluations to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Collaborate regularly with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning to ensure compliance with special education law and educational regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress, behavioral health, and developmental milestones. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques tailored for students with special needs or behavioral health challenges. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy education, math instruction, recreational therapy, and other specialized areas to enhance teaching effectiveness. Skills Proven experience working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and developmental delays. Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, instructional modifications, and educational compliance standards. Expertise in speech therapy techniques, behavioral health strategies, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and behavioral therapy approaches. Proficiency in integrating learning technology and educational technology tools into daily instruction. Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration with teacher teams. Ability to design engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills development, physical education activities, and preschool or early intervention practices. Skilled in classroom management and behavior management for students with diverse needs in private or public school settings.
